🎭 DRAMA TEACHER WANTED – JOIN THE PROPS THEATRE TEAM FOR 2027🎭
Are you passionate about inspiring young people through creativity, performance, and confidence-building?
Props Theatre is seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Drama Teacher to join our growing team in delivering engaging theatre and performance classes for children and young people.
ABOUT THE ROLE
• Facilitate weekly drama and theatre classes between the hours of 3.30 - 7.30 pm, Flexible days available.
• Encourage creativity, confidence, teamwork, and performance skills
• Create a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
• Assist with productions, performances, and community events
• Work collaboratively with our creative teaching team
WE ARE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO:
• Has experience in drama, theatre with a focus on education
• Connects positively with children and young people
• Is confident leading groups and managing classroom dynamics
• Brings energy, creativity, and professionalism to every class
• Educational degree of BA Education (or currently enrolled) with a current VIT registration status.
BONUS SKILLS
• Singing, movement, improvisation, directing, or technical theatre experience
• First Aid qualifications
